The security of your personal information is very important to us. In our efforts to protect your online transactions, we use a technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). If your browser is capable of SSL (and most are), your personal information will be automatically encrypted, or encoded, before it is sent over the Internet.
needtheheat.com has also obtained a digital certificate from Authorize.net, a leading provider of Internet trust services. When you enter a secure portion of this Site (which is any page containing any of your personal information), an image of a closed lock or a solid key should appear in the bottom bar of your browser window. If you click on this image, a small popup window displaying site security information will appear. This certificate guarantees that your personal information is being transmitted in secure (encrypted) form to a needtheheat.com Web server, not to some unknown or unauthorized server.
Ultimately, your personal information is protected by the password you created when you signed up for an account at needtheheat.com (or another password you chose after changing a previous password). Please keep this password confidential. No Customer Service Associate or any other representative of needtheheat.com will ever ask you for your password.
shipping policies
Need the Heat currently ships to Canada and the United States. International shipping is currently being configured.
Shipping and handling charges are additional to product prices and are based on the total weight of your order. Standard shipping includes packing, packaging materials and guaranteed delivery of all shipments via UPS.
You will receive a tracking number from UPS once your order has been shipped.
Please be sure to supply a valid UPS delivery address. UPS cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. If for some reason you cannot supply a valid UPS address, contact us at sales "at" needtheheat.com and we will make arrangements to ship through USPS.
Check you shipment promptly. If there is damage to your product(s), leave the carton as is with packing materials intact. If there is damage to any of your products, you must let us know within 72 hours so that we can make proper arrangements. We ship via UPS to keep the costs lower and to get your products to you faster. We package all of our sauces in bubble wrap and Styrofoam peanuts to ensure they arrive to you in one piece. We will also ship via USPS when we deem it appropriate and to save you money!
Orders are processed upon receipt. Actual shipping time is contingent upon availability of merchandise and credit verification. Most orders are shipped within 2 business days of receiving your order. No orders are processed or shipped on Saturdays, Sundays or National Holidays. In the event of delays, every effort will be made to contact you by phone, e-mail or mail. If the delay is due to backorder, you will receive notice and be given the choice to remain on backorder, substitute to another item, or cancel your order.
Returns Are Simple!
Simply email us to start the process, providing full details of your original order:
- Order ID
- Order date
- Your name
- Your email address
You must include the original shipping documents that you received with your original order. This will help us find your order to process the refund/return.
Our Returns Policy
Within 30 days of receipt of your goods (including gifts), you may return any of the following items to needtheheat.com, for any reason, for a full refund (we will also refund the freight cost if the return is because of our mistake)
- Any product in its original condition with original packaging
- We can only process returns and refunds for items purchased from needtheheat.com.
- We cannot exchange items unless they are defective or damaged. Items that are returned more than 30 days after shipping, will be charged a restocking fee of 15% at our discretion. We cannot accept items returned after 60 days or that are in unsellable condition.
Exchanges of Damaged or Defective Items
needtheheat.com can exchange items only if they are defective or damaged.
Refunds
We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. You will receive a refund in the same manner of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return. If your return is not due to our error, we will deduct the shipping costs from your refund.
Returning a gift?
You'll receive a gift certificate for the value of your return, which can be used at any time toward your purchases at needtheheat.com. The gift certificate will be mailed to you at the same address to which the order was shipped.
Did you use a promotional voucher, code or certificate?
If you paid for all or part of an item you want to return with a promotional coupon or code, that part of your refund will be credited to your account, available to use the next time you place an order at needtheheat.com. This does not apply if the promotion has expired.
Packing and Sending Your Return
Just a few simple steps:
Pack the items along with the packing slip (receipt) securely in a box. Please ensure you use sufficient padding to avoid damage in transit.
All damaged goods remain your responsibility unless receipt was declined by you due to damage in transit. You can use the box the items arrived in or another box, if you prefer. Affix the shipping label to the outside of the box.
Lost Your Packing Slip?
Don't worry! If you ordered the item yourself, you can still return it. What if the item was given to you as a gift, and you don't have the packing slip or the order number? No problem. Enclose a separate sheet of paper noting the name and e-mail address of the person who purchased the gift, along with the reason for your return, and send the package to the appropriate address.
